My name is Marie and I am a freelance designer from Hampshire, UK who can create art and design for all kinds
of uses.
I love to draw anything and
everything, but especially buildings, portraits, retro
hi-fi, geometrics and animals.
I can create repeat patterns for fabrics, wallpaper, gift wrap etc as well as placement prints and repeats for kidswear, plus greetings cards, and wall art.
I also enjoy graphic design work and can create logos,
typographic designs, flyers
business cards, magazine ads,
posters etc.
My studio label is called 'Beau Oui?'
after my lifelong hero David Bowie, and means 'Lovely, yes?' in French

I am really into all things print & pattern and I love architecture, and graphic design.
I am a huge music fan and enjoy drawing pop stars and celebrities.
I used to work as an in house designer where trend forecasting and making
moodboards was a big part of my job. I absolutely love brainstorming for creative ideas.
I also have a blog where I post design news and inspiration. It's had over 25 million hits to date and lead to me publishing four design books for
London based publishers Laurence King. The books were sold in Tate Modern, MoMA New York and Urban Outfitters amongst others. On release they also achieved number one in their category on Amazon, and I was interviewed by The Independent Newspaper who gave it a double page spread in their Sunday supplement.
